Spring Sandbass Bite Is Hot in Oklahoma—Limited March Dates Available

Thursday, 3-19-2026. I am just getting around to posting this. I had Grant, ShyAnn, and their sons Mason and Jacob out for some afternoon catch-and-release Sandbass action. We started off a little slow, but with a change in my presentation of baits, I got them fired up. With multiple triples and doubles, the action was on fire for a good portion of the trip. This was Lana’s first ever crappie trip, it didn’t take her long to figure out the different bites and start slinging them in the boat.
